Stuff To Know

Posted October 12, 2007

Here is a bunch of facts about Christian bands that i've come acrossed throughout the years. you may or may not already know these things.
I've done my reasearch but if i've made a crazy mistake let me know.

1. The lead vocalist of The Chariot, Josh Scogin, is the former lead vocalist of Norma Jean. That explains why both these bands' old stuff have a very close resemblence.

2. Dallas Taylor, the lead vocalist of Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, is the former lead vocalist of Underoath. Dallas was "asked to leave" Underoath in late 2003. To listen to Underoath's old stuff back when Dallas was the lead vocalist click here. Underoath and Maylene are currently touring together for the second time. In fact... i'm going to see them tonight.

3. He Is Legend is not a Christian band. Even though there are some Christian members they do not label themselves a Christian Band. They are signed to Solid State though, which is a Christian record label.

4. The lead singer of All That Remains is a Christian.

5. Stryper, known also as the 'yellow and black attack' was the first Christian metal band to be accepted by the mainstream media in the 80's. They broke up when metal was dying but they are currently back together. If you are a fan of the old 80's style of metal, then Stryper is the band for you.
