I've been playing the Open Mic scene in NYC for the past week. Check out my Facebook page for updates on where I'll be playing.

Matt Rein recently reignited his music career after working in Los Angeles and recording in Skip Saylor Recording Studio with producer Chris Johnson and musicians Rafael Moreira, Nate Morton, and Corey McCormick. They were selflessly devoted to the songs for 6 days, and came out with unbelievable results. Matt has recently moved back to Connecticut, leaving the University of Miami, to pursue his music career. Matt has played music since the age of 4, when he began piano lessons. He has been in countless recording studios, has an arsenal of fifty original songs, and played in venues all around the CT and Miami area. After writing sixteen new songs in the past 3 months, he is still trying to figure out whether he appeals to Jonas Brothers' fans, John Mayer fans, or Jason Mraz fans. Nevertheless, Matt has his eyes set on creating his own fan base of a similar size with his catchy melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and graceful guitar and piano skills.
