More Complaints begins in early 2000 with Andrs Galavis, Antonio Fernndez, Diego Penzo (drums) and Luis Villasana (guitar) in Caracas Venezuela. During these five years different musicians have contributed with the evolution of the band. In mid 2002 Leonardo Tani (guitar) and Juan Carlos Trujillo (drums) join the band. That year the band had wind instruments these were Daniel Alvarez (alto saxophone) and Gabriel Sfier-Younis (trumpet) but they left to other countries leaving only four. Later on in 2004 Alexander Hamilton (keyboards) joins the band making it a classic quintet.

More Complaints focuses on the fusion of musical influences that have formed us since our beginnings in the musical scene. Ska, jazz, punk rock, reggae and dub have been the music genres that have influenced us the most. From this fusion comes our very particular style we like to call ska-punk-dub. The lyrics talk about our feelings towards life, personal experiences, ecology, surf and skateboard. In one point in time political lyrics were sang but not anymore due to the fact that we find it irrelevant and we think that it contributes with social violence. Most of our songs are in english cause we want to expand our frontiers and that way more people around the world can understand us. We also sing in spanish because its our native language.

To compose the band gets together and contributes with ideas for a new song. Usually these ideas come from individual influences of the members, then the ideas are taught to the rest and finally the musician help construct the rest of the song using their influences. The result of this process is the fusion of ideas, influences and styles. Rehearsals are normally in Road House Studios, but there are other places like L.G. and Audioline where we also play. If that doesnt happen we would go to Antonios house, where we usually compose.

History: In our five years of progress weve had the chance to play with a great national and international scene. Belvedere (Canada), Pulley (U.S.A.) Mad Caddies (California), 2 minutos (Argentina), Nada (Vzla), Skatz (Vzla), Candy 66 (Vzla), Snica (Vzla), Primera Edicin (Vzla), Piso 23 (Vzla), Reciclaje (Vzla), 10 mc (Vzla), Jinkobiloba (Vzla), Yae (Vzla), ATTE (Vzla) and others. Up to now life performances have been the way to get to people. Our first album called. Basado en Hechos de la Vida Real will be out in 2006.
