On March 1st, 2006, Carlo Panighetti had an idea. An idea on par with Doctor Emmett Brown's idea to make the Flux capacitor.

Carlo wanted to make a rock opera based on the Back to the Future trilogy. Song titles/subjects started pouring out from his fingertips to textedit, and a few tunes were picked out on various instruments lying around his room.

Carlo thought to himself, "which of my awesome bands/recording projects should record this album?" This question puzzled him. Certainly Soup Getting Cold would make fun of him for such an idea. The Symmetric Zebras haven't played together in years. Los Banditos de Cristo is a worship band, and they worship God, not Marty McFly.

He thought of recording it as Carlo Panighetti, but that moniker is used for songs about Carlo's life.

A new band was needed, and Carlo knew it.

Carlo decided that this band would be named after Marty McFly's band in BTTF pt 1. The Pinheads was a perfect name. Then, after reflecting on his brilliance, he decided that Marty McFly & The Pinheads was better, and so it is.

the next day, carlo told his friend Steve about the idea (steve is always sharing his crazy ideas with carlo, so why not return the favor?) Steve was very excited about the idea, and offered to help carlo out in his endeavor.

It will be a very long time before this album is made, but it will be awesome. it will have 1.21 jigowatts of effort at the very least...
