From this metropolis, once inhabited by heathen multitudes, God has departed, promulgating the ascension of our necrophagic congregation. Mortal existence has become a relic of moments past, memories ebbing from the conception of eternity. Within this wretched mortuary of a societal caste, we are humankinds castigation. For centuries, they have sought to exile God from His creation, an infinite burden upon a finite principle.

Since that blighted eve, when history was compromised upon the behests of despotic imbeciles, the universal intelligence quotient has been reduced to monetary sustenance. However, artifacts of the recently devoured articulate a contrary narrative. The anticipation of aurora is merely fragmented phantasmagoria. Nothing remains save the maddening silence and the nihility of our undertaking. Hailing from the nether realm of Southern California, Martiis Nocturnem is a Melodic Death Metal band whose ministry is to extend a message of hope to a world where the anguish of human existence permeates beyond all reason and is the only salvation for many. The concept of Martiis Nocturnem was established in the winter of 2002 as Martyred at Midnight, a collective who sought to redefine the boundaries of the local music scene. Since the commencement in 2002, Martiis Nocturnem has gone through the expected harrows of member rotation.
