In the summer of 2012, funk reggae band Vibes for the Tribes found themselves searching for a new singer and a guitarist. Fargo-based guitar duo, Crockpot, was considering adding a rhythm section to expand their sound at the same time. Since both bands were familiar with each other, they held a joint jam session to see what would happen. Together they found an instant chemistry and discovered a mutual desire to create music with a positive message.
With their improvisational style as a foundation, Marmalade combines roots rock & country riffs with funk & dance grooves into an Americana jam blend.
