Mariday is comprised of Sarah Elizabeth Danna and Kristen Nicole Reilly, natives of the infamously underrated Buffalo, NY. The two met while playing together in a previous musical project. They always had a liking for a slightly different style of music which they often talked about pursuing.

In early 2006 while on their downtime, they found themselves huddling in a 1 sq. foot music room, (slight exaggeration, but not far off) in a humble apartment downtown. The music was so much to their liking that they decided to nurture it and watch it flourish.

Influenced mostly by boredom, the endless urge to create, and the longing for travel, Mariday was born.
