Ready to start Phase 4

I am ready to start Phase 4 of the process of completing and releasing my album.
Phase 1 was the planning stage. This is where I picked the songs and made mental
preparation about how they would be recorded and presented. Phase 2 included recording
preparation. Buying the software and hardware that would be used including all drum
loop cds and plug-ins. This phase also included learning the tools and practicing making
good quality recordings. My wife was instrumental in this part of the process since
she bought me my Mac, ProTools (M-Powered), my recording interface and microphone. Phase 3
was the actual recording process. This has taken the longest time since I have been
trying to maintain a house and care for a baby girl in the process. I have recorded the
last song and I am finally coming to the end of this phase. I just need to make a few
changes to a couple of mixes. Phase 4 will involve post production. Post production will
include, editing, revisions and mastering. I am excited about this part of the process.
Phase 5 will be the final part of the process, packaging and release. I can't wait to
share what I have done with you all.
