magna performs mainly instrumental compositions using the standard rock configuration of two electric guitars, bass, and drum kit. waltzes, uncommon time signatures, and variable open tunings are current trademarks of the magna sound. it would be appropriate to compare magna to a darkly dynamic impressionist painting if you're into making those kind of comparisons.
