One such band is "Magdalene", hailing from Tyler, Texas. This band ROCKS! The songwriting is superb, delivered with a no-holds-barred attitude that makes you listen. Joanna's vocals are truly impressive! She sings with the fire and passion of Janis Joplin, while enjoying the range and ability of Pat Benatar. The wall-of-guitar provided by Peter and Michael is equally impressive. The sound is thick and rich, punctuated by melodic, skillfully executed solos and exquisite tone. Tim and Bret drive the band with their rock solid bottom end. I highly recommend checking out "Magdalene" - and I'd do it sooner than later!!"
