Madison East is a six-piece band from Cleveland, Ohio. As a group they have been pushing the limits of music in a stagnant scene for three and a half years. In that time they have developed a unique sound that, if forced to be categorized, could be placed somewhere between an edgy emo and hardcore sound. While drawing comparisons to bands such as Thursday, Hawthorn Heights, and Further Seems Forever it can't be said that they particularly sound like anyone else. Madison East has a passion to excel far beyond the typical sound on today's market and is constantly striving for perfection in all aspects of their music.

Hard work and unwavering dedication to excellence are what have characterized their song-writing and live performance from the beginning. Effectively using three guitars to their potential in a rock band is something that is rarely seen now but as a result of their hard work and intentional focus Madison East pulls it off exceptionally, actively avoiding duplicate parts and pursuing originality. Ranging from beautifully light, finger-picking melodies to thrashing in-your-face screaming, Madison East is as diverse a band as can be found today. This, aided by punchy, creative bass lines and uncommonly creative drum work forms a musical force unlike any other. Madison East, fronted by vocalist Jeremy Taylor with a range and control surpassing most, if not all, singers in the genre delivers an inspiring and energetic live show.

It is the heart of the band to connect with people through music and present a light and hope that inspires. This is fulfilled in real relationships formed with fans and the simple electricity of looking out at a crowd and seeing mobs of people you don't know singing along to every word, knowing that somehow you have affected their lives.

With the independent release of their debut full-length album, "In The Name of Endurance" in February 2005, Madison East continues to further solidify their place in the Cleveland scene and expand their territory quickly to a regional and national status.
