Before any start, we'd like take this opportunity to make clean our wishes in diffusing the punk culture and our worries about keeping the D.I.Y. spirit alive; The Luta Armada started in 1996, when 3 kids with a lot of wants and no resources managed to start a band.
The meaning of Luta Armada in English is something like Armed Fight. Here in Brazil this name is referred to the conflicts between different social classes, it's strongly associated with the social revolution. We have been playing under this name for 10 long years, and today the name has also cultural meaning.
The punk culture has been an essential part of our lives, our day by day.
Apart from the band, we edit a punk zine and maintain a punk distro.
