Lucidity was formed in late 2004. Back then we didnt have any goals in the bands future, we were just playing. But later on the songs started to form the shape of the bands music, melodic (death) metal

After six months of intense practise first studio material was recorded in Karstula, Riuttarecords studios. It was only a practise session. Everything happened too fast. But it was enlightening experience.

After the studio session, the band was forced to have a brake. The rehearsal place in Lutakko was under reconstruction. So we didnt have a place to rehearse. From June to December we had maximum 10 rehearse sessions. But during that period, even we had no rehearsal place, we made songs.

During the brake, our music changed a bit. The shape of our music is more death metal, but at the same time more atmospheric and melodic. So with a bit changed style, again, we marched to studio. The same studio. But this time we decided to take our time, and carefully finish this one. The session turned out to be nightmare. This time nightmare was equipments fault. But in the end we had good material in our hands, that had good reviews in Finnish media.

After the second session the band lived little quiet times because of bands busy personal life. During that period we had one gig and we composed new songs. Now we have new songs and the recordings for the upcoming promo started. After good reviews of earlier promo, we have good vibes about our future. New dawn will rise.
