LOVE ARCADE

Alternative / Pop / Pop Punk

Detroits own 19-year old Snowhite has decided to do something else with his time. Taking on every role, Snowhite is the singer, guitarist, bass player, keyboardist, drummer, producer, engineer, mixer, videographer and graphic designer for his band, Love Arcade. Not only prolific but a real Renaissance man, he is at the forefront of a cultural, musical, and technological revolution. In an age of bedroom recording and MySpace music sharing, Snowhite and the other songwriters of Generation Y have harnessed the accessibility of new technologies and are doing everything for themselves, crafting masterpieces on their laptops.

Snowhite is something of a walking, talking pop music compendiumalready writing over 200 songs in every possible genre including rock, pop, hip-hop, r&b, and dabblings in art rock. With literally hundreds of options, choosing the 12 tracks that make up Love Arcades self-titled debut was no small task. However the results manage to effortlessly channel the last two decades of pop music80s radio pop and 90s guitar squallsmorphing it into instantly catchy two-minute sonic confections. Real honest to god, radio-friendly rock that seems almost effortlesssoaring, hooky, car-stereo pump-worthy songs in their purest form with choruses that stick in your head for days and days.

Evoking comparisons to everyone from Beck and Weezer, to The Flaming Lips and Supergrass, Love Arcades debut is a self-made explosion of style and creativity fused with an ability to never take itself too seriously. In fact, Snowhite is even known to rock a white suit and some fluffy white angel wings while on stage funny and satirical without every being too jokey. Though he is known to be somewhat introspective and shy when not performing, his onstage persona is all about exuberant showmanshipdancing, laughing, rocking, and generally having an awesome time. A quality sorely lacking in most contemporary rock bands.

Love Arcade's self-titled debut album is in stores now on Atlantic Records.
