Lost Tongues, a soulful indie rock groove band from the Mid-Atlantic Region, is a project that rose out of the corpus delicti that other projects left behind. It is an effort to fulfill the dreams that the members have had since music entered their lives, to connect with people through vivid accounts of real life stories and music. Although the band has been together since 1999, this incarnation of Lost Tongues was put together by a swift change in the four winds in March of 2006.

Lost Tongues at its inception had big plans. Although an age old and novel idea, it wasnt to conquer the world by scripture. It was to connect with people and tap into their rhythmic natures, which are hard wired into each and every one of us. With heartfelt lyrics, powerful emotion invoking chord progressions and a rhythmic determination to entice the audience into losing their inhibitions and reconnecting them to the lost pleasures of rock and roll, Lost Tongues does their best to insure a great musical experience.

Even though Lost Tongues only consists of two members, their previous musical experiences have both allowed and forced them to find a way to tastefully fill the gaps in what is normally seen as a basic band structure rather than simply have more players. Through the use of all of their faculties, Lost Tongues tastefully and humbly go through the musical experience of writing. Egos are left aside and only their true feelings are supported.
