Orono, ME

Yes sweet fuckers it's Monday morning and we're hella hungover from our festivities with our brothers from Ska Mothers Big D and the Kids Table. Friday night saw your boys driving from a beautiful spring like day in Boston to a fucking arctic like evening in Orono Maine. We seriously went from 50 degrees to 7 below in a matter of hours, but hey who's complaining? The show was way the fuck up there about 100 miles past Augusta. As soon as we got there I jumped out of the van and my man member ran up inside me, it was that cold.

We had doors at 7 and since we were thrown all over the highway we showed up a bit late. By the time doors were open the line had formed instantly, I was blown away by how fast and how many people had shown up in a matter of seconds.

Right before our set our good friends Jockins and Sarah came bearing treats, and propelled the LCA's into a fiery set that the gods from below channeled up through the earth. They wanted us to throw some old jams in there and a number of sonfs from Broken World, so we did just that. The crowd did some serious dancing, when we say circle pit, we mean CIRCLE PIT, and evidently so did they. Needless to say, Orono, we had quite the time and your show kicked off a series of shows that simply were gonna be killer.

Burlington, VT

Okay, I bitched about the weather but that shit was nothing compared to what was in store for Burlington. First off the drive was brutal, through all these little small town roads, snow squalls, and black ice. It took a good 7 hours for us to get there, and it took me about 15 smokes. Just as I was falling asleep and loosing my shit a car pulled up next to us and starting beepoing the fuck out of us, I seriously thought we were gonna have to fight some Vermont made rednecks, but then to my surprise it was 2 cars full of VT'ers that were going to the show. One of them actually had a video camera on me while his friend had a wonderful sounding air horn. Tonight was gonna be the shit.

We were playing one of our favs, Higher Ground, and we knew it was on. OPening were our friends Medicated Kisses, they play like a emo-metal-nu-glam kinda thing, all with a wailing chick singer Allana. Great fucking peeps, up after MK was VT's Klass Klown they play more of a Simple PLan kinda pop-punk style, also great fucking peeps. Did I mention this place was fucking huge and jammed with kids? Yeah well it was and they were fucking rad, we opened with Pretty War and they just fucking went off. So as you know when you go off, we just loose our shit. We were sooo fucking pumped, we always have the best of times in Burlington. Last time we played Higher Ground it was in the old building, and we played there with Flogging Molly and the Briggs, that show was also sick but this one just took the fucking prize. Burlington you have won your LCA's over in a big way.

Northampton, MA

The legendary Pearl St. This club has been around for years, it's been shut down a number of times and reincarnated just as many. I personally have seen so many shows there since I was young. I actually saw Ronnie's old band Spring Heeled Jack a number fo times there. I've also seen a couple Bosstones shows there, the Bruisers, Anti-Flag, and a shitload more that are a bot on the foggy side. Anyway the venue is rad and we always have a great time there.

Did I mention it was fucking freezing back in MA? Yeah well it was and I'm officially over it. The show was awesome, we had so many familiar faces singing the jams and a shitload of new ones too. That right there is what it's all about, in a nutshell. Everytime we get on the stage it's a communal thing, you want something you have to give it up too, that's the only way we work. LCA can't fake a vibe and it's not upto just us to make. That being said we got exactly what we wanted and gave it right back, thank you Pearl St. You showed us a wonderful time.

As the weekend came to a close we had sat back back with the Big D boys and talked of how this shit needs to be a full on tour, for real. So, you never know what's gonna happen. See you soon you LCA's, see you soon.

Cheers,
