For being around such a short time, Loss Of One already has quite a story to their name. Originally entitled A New Hope members Mark Wisneski (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Brandon Ogden (Bass/Vocals), Chase Thyssen (Drums), and Jesse Schultz (Rhythm/Vocals) started the clich garage band back in the summer of 2002. They played a small amount of gigs but never really got serious about the band. Unfortunately tragedy struck early for this new group of rockstars. In March of 2003 Jesse Schultz suddenly passed away. It was a shock to everyone. After a few months had gone by Mark, Brandon, and Chase decided they would continue Jesses dream and keep the band together. In honor of Jesse they renamed themselves Loss Of One, and decided to get serious. They played a few smaller clubs and the Wisconsin State Battle of the Bands and slowly started gaining a fanbase. We plan on recording a cd ... sometime . For this summer we want to play as many shows as we can and promote this band so much. Every show that this band does is all for Jesse, we know he's looking down on this band and making sure we keep kicking ass. And to show to everyone we play for, what a small town band can do!!!!! New Accoustic Material/Shows In The Works!!!

Hey there Loss of One fans!!

The process of looking for a new drummer is still under way and we're hoping to find that perfect fit soon!! But in the mean time Mark and I (Brandon) are currently in the works of writing some accoustic material and record some of our older songs and make them accoustic. On our page "Choose To Leave" is one of the songs Mark wrote that is accoustic. We are also talking about booking some shows and doing some of our first live accoustic performances. So were not sitting around doing nothing while we search for a drummer, WE ARE STILL HERE!! Keep checking back to updates and hopefully you will see both of us performing some accoustic shows around the area!!! Thank you for your patience while we are doing this!! LOSS OF ONE LOOKING FOR NEW DEDICATED DRUMMER!!!

HEY THERE TO EVERYONE!!
It's been a long while since we last posted something, we are very sorry for the long absence on all of our pages. Alot of stuff has been going down and we are working very hard to get back on the right track. This post has some important info. If you are a drummer you deffinately need to read this!!

So here's the scoop. Loss of One is currently looking to fill our missing spot...A DRUMMER!!! We need someone who is dedicated and has the passion for music and take it to the next level. This is no joke, we don't want someone who is not serious enough. Music has to be one of your biggest passions. The style of music we play is pop/punk/rock. We are hugely influenced by Blink182, Gree Day, Mest, The Starting Line, bands like that. If you are a drummer who lives in or close to the Little Chute/ Appleton area, send a messege to our page (not a comment but a messege to the myspace email). Give us a little background info on who you are, how long you've been drumming, if your into the pop/punk type style, who has influenced you to drum, information like that so we get to know you a little better.

Sorry Fellow Viewers. (we have released the turtles)

We've been busy with school/work/moving/whatever else excuse the Brandon comes up with. Yes, new shows are coming soon, you all should come and cheer us on that and to see us if you haven't in a while, were tighter than ever (plus we all know chase will truffle shuffle one of these days). We also re-recorded the drum tracks on some of our old songs to test it out, and believe it, they sound ten times better then before. Run rampant and strong and never quit... sorry well thats all.

Rock your spleen out.

TRIO...(FREE DEMO CD)

We're sorry to say but one of our members decided to drop out of the band due to some problems of work, school, and time for his own band. He's been really busy with things and he thought that he couldn't put as much effort towards the band as he thought he should.

Don't worry though, Loss Of One is still here, we are going to go back to a trio but still play shows. It's going to be a little different without the good guitarist giving us the great rhythem. But we've started out as a Trio and things shouldn't be much different from before.

New songs are being written and hopefully we can work on making a CD that will actually sound Professional. We will keep you updated on our new songs and tell you more on that.

Now for the fans...We are going to be GIVING AWAY FREE DEMO CD's they will have the tracks FAKE; SUPER (IT'S YOUR FAULT); WALK AWAY; TEENAGE RIGHTS. If those arent the songs on there, sorry, I beleive those are the better four songs that are recorded. Just email this myspace and leave a mailing address and we'll send you guys a DEMO of us for FREE. No Shiping or Handling, we'll cover that cost.

Also, don't expect it to come within a few days. Let it take about a week, depending on how busy we are going to be.

HEY HEY HEY!!!!

Hey this is Kevin the newest and quietist member the band. They usually keep me in the closet, feed me table scraps, and never let me talk to anyone. However today is different, I am free, eating pizza, and typing to you fine people on the interweb. Yeah just wanted to give a shout out to all of you, and let you know that we are working on getting more shows set up as soon as Brandon gets back from Florida. Until then.........Peace out my homies.
