The Longest Day are an alternative experimental rock band with their sights set on nothing less than world domination. Already gaining a strong following in their home town they have since taken their unique mix of passionate, brooding-yet-catchy rock up and down the UK impressing crowds with their huge sound and enigmatic live show.
The band have recently finished work on their as-yet unreleased debut album produced by Romesh Dodangoda (Funeral for a Friend, Lost Prophets, Manic Street Preachers). With stunning cover art by Marvel Comics & 2000AD artist Boo Cook (Wolverine, Judge Dredd).
They've been described as a fusion between bands like Muse
and Pearl Jam with acts such as Foo Fighters and Incubus -although
they truly sound like something completely new and fresh,making
them a unique and original act.
The Longest Day,although down to earth in nature,are often
complimented on their high quality sound and professional ability
and strive to give an exciting and memorable show "The
performances are consistently good and the band shows a lot of
promise...".
