LM.C was founded by maaya. While still in Miyavi's support band, maaya used support members to play live shows of LM.C. One of them was ex-PIERROT guitarrist Aiji.

After maaya quit Miyavi's band and Aiji's band PIERROT was disbanded, LM.C debuted to major in 2006-10-04 by releasing two singles, "Trailers (Gold)" and "Trailers (Silver)", both including a DVD. They also did a circuit tour November '06.

As 2007 began, the group came out with a third single, "OH MY JULIET.", which included three versions. On March 7, they released their first mini album, "GLITTER LOUD BOX", with two versions, a CD+DVD pack and a regular CD.

They released their fourth single, "BOYS AND GIRLS", in 2007 on the 23rd of June.
