What We Do Here.
Formerly Nine Cents Magazine, Lit/MUS has been a work in progress for some time now. The end result? A massive artistic collaboration that produces an online music magazine written by the bands we feature in each issue. To get a better understanding of what we're up to view our first issue, but keep in mind that future issues will not contain interviews. There's nothing we could ask you that you haven't already been asked and there's not much that you could tell us that you haven't told anyone else. Write something about your passion. If you need any advice or editing, you'll find help at the email link at the bottom of the page.

Issue #2: Influences.
Pretty easy, what influences your music? Or better yet: why do you do what you do? There are people who make $40K+ a year, get two weeks paid vaction and full medical benefits. And they love their boring jobs. Tell us why you love yours, even if the pay isn't so hot.
Tour Story.
Issue #2 is covered, but it's never too early

Shows. We'll post your shows here, on Myspace and in a simple tri-weekly web document.
Music Classifieds. That one should explain itself.
A note about costs, participation and ownership:
All participation in any of Lit/MUS Magazine's publications is FREE and always will be. Our #1 goal is to free people from their "Top 40" hell by exposing them to the music most other sources aren't telling them about. All contributers (music, art, photography, video, biotech, etc.) keep the rights to their work with the understanding that they have allowed us to use it in a given context. Proper credit will always be awarded.
Don't visit us on Myspace just yet.
Links.
We are associated with Singleton Media in San Diego, CA and Standby Records in Findlay, OH. We just love ROCKIT Entertainment too much not to link to them.
