LISTEN TO BOB DYLAN
is a double disc tribute album being released by Drive-Thru Records on August 16, 2005. The goal of the CD is to introduce a newer, younger generation of listeners to Bob Dylan's music through artists that they love, the same way we (Stefanie & Richard) were introduced to his music through one of our favorite bands, The Alarm, back in the mid-nineties. Bob Dylan is one of the greatest songwriters of all time...musically and lyrically!!!

Reviews
"...while teens and twentysomethings may be the target audience, longtime Dylan fans won't be disappointed either."

This is so awful. This ruins Bob Dylan's amazing songs. Especially the one by Aneberlin, they took an original, wonderful song and made it this awful, unoriginal, pop pnk disaster. I don't know why these bands think that they have the right to change his songs like that and make them generic and meaningless. This whole thing makes me sick. Oct 26

i happened upon this little Gem on accident. and it is probable one of my most listened to albums. i was raised on Bob Dylan. between me and my dad we have every Dylan Song ever released. and the way i always saw Bob Dylan was like a big Cup of Black Coffee. strong a little bitter and not for everyone. but for those who can drink it they love it. this 2 disk collection would be like Bob Dylan with Sugar and cream. and i enjoyed most every song on this collection. with the exception of James Blunts version of "i want you" this Album is the perfect album to play for Dylan Haters. i was dating a girl who was not a fan of Bob Dylan and i popped this CD not letting her know what it was. she fell in love with it. it wasn't until a few weeks later i let her know they were all Bob Dylan songs. she now is giving Dylan songs a chance. Great Collection. and i would really enjoy full studio Dylan cover albums by steel train, and jason mraz Jun 04

I hope there is a cover of Blowing in the wind. I love that song as well as Mr. Tambourine Man. Those are the two songs that got me playing guitar. BOB DYLAN is loved here in Weyburn. There are many kids playing covers of his songs. But they are still at his speed! Jun 21
