Favorites:
*Black Tide - By far my favorite band, they are a talented group of young guys, and talented is an understatement to be quite honest. Needless to say, Black Tide is my breath of fresh air. Most of all though? They're different, they have an 80's thrash metal sound with influences such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Megadeth. It may not sound like something you'd like but you'd be surprised. Gabriel Garcia (16 years old, lead vocalist/guitarist - they were signed when he was a mere 14 years old) is a child prodigy, just listen to his voice and the guitar, whether you end up liking them or not, you can't deny they're impressive (: They're my #1 recommendation for some good new music!
*Underoath - I'm a huge fan of Underoath, I love all 6 of their albums, especially They're Only Chasing Safety & Define the Great Line, because personally I think Spencer is a better suitor for UnderOath than Dallas ever was. They've been making non-stop beautiful music over the years and the day I got They're Only Chasing Safety for my birthday when the CD first came out, was when it all open a new world of their music for me. I think the music they make is amazing and very influential I would actually love to meet Spencer Chamberlain, he's a gorgeous and talented man.
*All Time Low - I've been listening to All Time Low for a really long time now, ever since they use to only tour around Maryland and the surrounding states, and guess where I had found them back in the day? None other than Purevolume. First show I saw them was with Amber Pacific 4 or 5 years ago at The Door, one of the best days of my life. The Party Scene EP has been well loved over the years, and their 3 Albums that have come out to stores never cease to amaze me, even if their sound has changed quite a lot since I first started listening to them. They started off with an Alternative sound and now have that Bubble Gum Poppy Rock sound, which don't get me wrong, I still like. The only annoying thing is they're overly popular now and I don't want them to become sell outs like Fall Out Boy. Alex Gaskarth has a unique voice full of energy and let's not lie - the band is a group of really good guys.
*The Almost - What do you expect, I love Underoath & Aaron Gillespie is sensational. They're album is indescribable, I went and bought it the first day it came out, and it is even better than I had imagined it to be, it took my breath away
*The Starting Line - They got me into everything I listen to over 5 years ago. I love them. & as their albums are created, they get better & better. My favorite song is by them, cheek to cheek
*Bring Me the Horizon - You will come to see I love every type of music, I don't listen to much metal, but Bring Me the Horizon caught my ear about a year ago. Their songs are so well composed, Oliver has an actual good screaming voice, and Curtis's guitar rifts are unbelieable. I've seen them live, and they're just as good as on their Cds, I love the british boys. You either love them, or hate them. I love them.
*The Veronicas - ahh. so girly, but I love them. What can I say, they have really catchy songs, especially for girls. Ifyou haven't heard them you should defintley check them out.
*The White Tie Affair - There is not a song on their album that sounds like another song, they're really different and Chris has a killer voice. They're great guys who know how to put on a phenominal show. It's beautiful music.
*Braxton - He's a guitarist for a band called PlayRadioPlay! and he has his own music, and is also from Texas [everything's better in Texas] and it is just mindblowing, he doesn't have a purevolume, but he does have a myspace with his music on it. It's amazing that a single guy could master everything in his music. This is the best indie. I love to go to shows & concerts. I'm not the best you'll ever have, so I'm not going to say that I am. I have a gorgeous boyfriend, I'm really happy with Ryen. I'm lucky enough to have the most amazing friends - Ashlyn, Nikki, Mikey, and Alicia. I'm a sweetheart, but I'm also very fecicious. I love art and literature. I have so many hobbies. I love meeting new people, so feel free to add me.

first time in a long time

ahhh!
I'm never on here much,
but I do get on occasionally so I apologize for anyone who has messaged me or commented me, I haven't had much time to return everything! I'm sorryyyy

please continue to talk to me! :D

anyway,
I don't have much of a music update, but I live in Dallas, Texas metroplex and there's a band everyone should really check out.
They're called Slow Motion Red Lights, find them on here or Myspace, listen to "White Chapel District", "Keep Them Guessing" and "Hands of a Gentleman" those are my favorites :) I promise you will like them.

ohhhh and please stop messaging me telling me to check out your music, I want messages from people who actually want to have a conversation with me. I won't get around to listening to it, I know it's mean but I get those EVERY DAY and it's not going to captivate my attention. believe it or not, actually talking to me and becoming a friend of mine first leads me to be interested in/check out your music :)

***I've had this since account since'05 and my music taste has changed a little, I haven't added a lot of the bands I currently listen to "my favorites" but hopefully I can get around to it. THE CONCERT AT NOKIA

So I already saw From First to Last, The All-American Rejects, Fall Out Boy, and Hawthorne Heights. It totally sucked how From First to Last only played like 10 minutes, they were amazing, but I think they played better when I saw them at The Door in December with He is Legend. Hawthorne Heights was boring, they had no stage presence. The All-American Rejects were - wow - they did really good, and they played some of thier old songs [which was good] and they got the crowd going. Fall Out Boy was pretty good, better than I thought they would be, best part of their performance, was that they mainly played songs from Take This to Your Grave, and it seemed like me and Alicia were the only people in our area singing the songs except when "Dance, Dance" and "sugar We're Going Down". I wanted to meet Nick Wheeler though :/ but nof course I didnt. And I have pictures, but they suck.
