when all else fails.

My eyes fixed upon a desperate man, a man gasping for life, for just a breathe of air, a glimpse of hope. I stand here amongst the fallen becasue when you've got what i got, who needs air? We dont know the true power ourselves until we have reached the edge. Until we understand that being human is closest thing we have to perfection, and that we posess the power to bring about change, and act out of our own free will. But then again, will is not free, it is dictated by the past, by the men and women who have come before us. It has consequences its costs something, anything from effort to life. Do not regret your actions or your words though. When you do something, do it becuase you want too no matter what happens, and when u say something, say it becasue you mean it. Yes this requires a bit more thinking than the standard person is used to, but what else does one do with their time. I wonder what its like to dissapear for a few days. To set off in a random direction, walk into the abyss, and see what happens in hope of gaining a better understanding of yourself and what you can do. In hope of gaining a greater appreciation of everythin we take for granted. In hope of experience life to its fullest with everything it has to offer. Every feeling and every sense.

Thoughts from a broken mind

YOU ARE ALL
everyone is crazy and foolish...i am the stupidest person you will ever met, and you are the stupidest person i have ever met...we are all stupid, but we all have our reasons, and we al have our ways to rationalize our stupidity...one day im gonna break this chain and change...change it all, so that i will no longer have to deal with myself as i am know...i used too be strong and confident, but now im worn down, run ragged, used up, and exhausted, i question myself form every angle and i falter more with each step i take toward what seems like an unchieveable achievement...all that the remains is the brain in my head that helps to guide me and get me throguh the worst of times..its time to change and change for the better...and not just me, but eveyrone should...do rationalize and excuse all your short comings, improve yourslef and become better, all it takes is some effort....it is time to stop making excuses and strat making improvements...every fucking day you hear someone say they cant do soemone because of some reason, and most of the time reason or excuse is bull shit...if they tried they could do it...maybe we are all just too lazy and this is a side effect of the instant gratification of american society in addition to speed of electronics...these two things have shaped the youth of today in such a way, that they no longer understand the meaning of patience, hard work, determination, and diligince...we as a generation lack a work ethic that can be clearly in the men and women who have come before us...they faced many hardships, but they fought back and forced chnage, they have created the world we have come to know and love. But look at us...we have done nothing...accomplished nothing...the most dramtic change we have been able to create is in the the style of music and dress that is currently popular...other than that we ahve achieved nothing...nothing or worth or value..but this only by my standards, some may consider rap and screamo great american achievements...and guys wearing girls pants a revolution...these are minimal accomplishments compared to what we have the ability and talent to achieve...people need to stop just setteling for what we have and accepting what they can get and has been laid out before them...we shoudl demand more from the world...but not of selfishness, rather out the notion that we could improve man kind as a whole. In summation, people dont think enough. a person can have all the knowledge in the world but it is nothing compared to an iota of intelligence...people think, but not hard,or for a long period of time...they only scratch the surface of truth and realization, but never look any further out of fear that there might be something unsettling under the facade...no asks the right questions either...they always ask who, when, where, and how...but never why...why is the question that leads to thinking...most people dont like to answer the question WHY becuase it forces them to think...most people use answer such as "cuz" or "i dont know". when u ask u learn why...why things happen, why that is that way it is, and why nothing is simple...and becuase nothing is simple, we have choosen to "DGAF" everything...it should become our generations motto...and that simply proves that our generation is lazy and stupid...and im not saying im better than any one of u either...im just the guy who took a minute to think and came to this conclusion...it may be different than yours, and u have a different one that is good becuase it shows u cna think for urslef...and plz let me here it, cuz i would love to argue my opinoin against yours in hopes of learning and sheding light upon my box of a mind...thank you and good night.

NEW ADDITION: i recently recieved a few messages regarding this opinionated piece of literature and realized that i had missed two important things, but before i get started i want to say that stupididty is not cute. So girls...done be dumb, be you, and find a guy who likes you for who you are and not what you have or what you do...thast the right kind of guy. The problem is most girls like badass guys...why is something i cannot even begin to comprehend, but it seems true...honest guys...and i know your out there...have a terrible time getting girls becuase they dont play hard to get...they care and who would want to be with someone who cares about them...honestly?...well enough of that...back to the main two things...morals and values...Americans today have terrible values...and low morals...and im not riduculing anyone cuz i'm just as bad as anyone else...i have stolen and cheated and lied and done numerous other terrible things, and interestingly enough i dont seem to regret them because i have rationalized them out of my thoughts...and i know for a fact that i am not the worst...they are countless others who would consider me an outstanding and exceptional kid...or a pussy becuase i am not as bad as they are....and when did it become ok to lie cheat and steal...you screw up peoples lifes...and when did hurting others become fun...who does that...people that dont think thgats who...they dont care...people dont care anymore...they just gave up and said let someone else do it...kids like courtesy and respect...they dont give a fuck about their elders cuz they are all tough and shit...well heres an idea...sit down and listen to what they have to say...as teens we htink we r the shit and we know everything...but we dont...they know more...they have been us and gone thorugh what we do..they have stories to tell...and lessons to teach...all u have to do is listen...think about how the world would be better place is we had different morals and values...but ofcourse these are all relative...some people value material objects more than anything else...where as for me...my happiness and well being along with that of my firends comes before material objects....steriotypes are a whole nother subject...we should not steriotype people and steriotyping is worng...i agree with that, but i have something logical to say in defense of steriotypes...steriotyping is natural...u cannot know everyone therefore u must make educated guesses about the personality of individual based upon statistics and past experiences...sterotypes are vital to everyday life...even thoguh they may be wrong...its the safe bet...cuz u cant know anything fro sure...even when u get to know a person because hwo does one know if another is unsing a facade to cover up their real identity.

group sociology

The problem with being part of a community is that you must sacrafice individuality.
Therefore, i think any group with more than for people in it calls for its members to repress unique parts of their person in order to conform to the groups norms and stardards where as a group of four or less is normally made up of very close friends who respect one another for their individuality and embrace others differences.

Why is it wrong. who make is right. what makes it better.

We want what we cant have and we take what have for granted. It is only by losing something that we realize what we truly had.

Live life without regrets so you will never have to wonder what if?

We do not control our possesions, rather our possesions end up controlling us. For example, the computer offers a simple escape from reality; allows us to be connected with many while concomitantly being disconnected from everything; and takes a small portion of our ability to control every aspect of our life on a day to day basis. To possess nothing is to be truely free.

THOUGHTS ON LOVE

LOVE?

love is only healthy if the other person loves you back...cuz if they dont it becomes a problem and then you get attatched to them, because they are soemthing you want, but cant have...and then eventually at some point in the future, you will realize that you must move on(if the person still does not like you) for your own good. Becuase you are only hurting yourself and not allowing yourself to explore other possibilities with other people. Most people think you can only love one person, but why does that have to be true. Each person has there own idea of what love is, but if you care deeply about another person than thats the basic idea behind love. So off that point, you can say you love your whole family, your best friend, your cat/dog.
If i learned anything in my past four years of highschool its that you cant be just one thing, or do just one thing, or commit yourself to just one thing, becuase life is all about change and change will occur whether you want it to or not, so you might as well explore and experience everything the world has to offer before you are forced to become an adult and start commiting yourself to things and people.
Bottom line is, care about the people that care about you becuase those are the people who are like "family" and do what is best for you and your "family."
