The Devil Wears Prada (part 1)
Ok so i went to see them after a whole 2 months and they are still just as amazing. I mean people were staring at me just a bit because i was right in front and I knew all the words but dont they know i listen to their songs every day. Along with my other favorite band Jimmy Eat World ^_^
Yes people my 2 most favorite (jimmy being on top by a smidge) bands are Jimmy Eat World and The Devil Wears Prada. I really wanna go to the release show but the problem is its in Cincinatti and i wont have someone to take me out that far unless I find a way to get a ride with a friend thats going. Hey maybe James will let me ride with the band hehehehe. Oh well it was an amazing show.
The Devil Wears Prada
When you ask for a band to have all the elements this one very much does. They've got the brotherhood of being best friends and trusting to each other, they've got the talent in each of their instruments whether it is Daniel pounding on his double bass drums, James blaring out his sweet melodies on his keyboard or the rough and course riffs of Chris or Jeremy's guitar, or the blood curtling screaming of one very talented Vocalist and Lyricist Mike. I got a chance to meet and greet with this band well before their new aclaimed fame. I have a little fetish for this band you could say. They have a special sound with a special message. That message is our lord and savior Jesus Christ. I love how they can touch the hearts of many with their music and still give the glory to their maker and talent giver. So when they release their album on August 19th heads will turn all over America and maybe even further out to the world as six men who i know love this and will probably die for this, will get a chance to send the world their heart in soul in a small compact disc. This is one band where big things are going to happen. When you hear their music (if in fact you have a taste for hardcore) you get a rush in your heart. An adrenaline rush. Only good music (i'm picky like that) can give me that rush. These boys offer it to me every time over the countless times I've seen them live. But its the friendship they offer to each fan that makes them unique. These guys are sweethearts as well as pranksters (like poking eachother and making a sound on the guitar everytime you do) and are special people as well as good musicians. Its a great pleasure to know them and own their music. So next time when you are around the cd store and you see Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord, please pick it up it will be worth every penny and more.

OH MY the new thursday and the new taking back sunday is amazing. i love all the tracks but i love running from the rain by thursday and divine intervention by tbs the most. blah blah i am bored now so good good bye

Sooo I missed unicorn fest BOOOOO but i did go shopping and then have a night out with my emo lover Casey and my best friend Amanda. We went to GG (i still have the stamp it wont wash off!) The delima here is that I think i am developing another crush on Casey. I mean usually it'll blow over after one night but gosh being in casey's arms hearing his voice smelling his sent (lol) everything about him amazes me everytime i am around him for a long period of time. I think the best moment of the night was being in casey's arms as we sung Taking Back Sunday (how emo right?) and he forgot the words and it was cute but i love it soo oh well. Saw the meaning in the Devil Wears Prada new title. MIKE IS A LYRICAL GAWD! lol but he is a really amazing writer and his lyrics will affect the hearts of many as my friends go out and sell their music to the world. Yes thats right when they are famous i will hold into myself that once upon a time i knew those kids. hopefully i will still know them. ^_^
more about music 1 more day baby and its 10-9-8-7 what are you waiting for??? Thursday and Taking Back Sunday (ironic both of them have days of the week in their name) i am having small emo get together to listen to this new music and survey it.
Two Cds To Anticipate
Ok so found out that not only is TBS releasing the 25th but so is Thursday. That is every emo girl's dream right there. So yeah inevitable I am emo. I dont claim it or nothin but like people say it attaches itself to me because of the music i like and basically my style and my lyrics for my band. yup it just goes that way.

Basically i made this when i heard about the new underoath song on here. I have heard some of the album since i d k how Joe seems to get every peice of music that is ever made before it comes out. He's had the new cd for months and i hate him V_V but i heard some of it. He doesnt like it. Me I loveeee it. Underoath is soo amazing. And it seems they're returning to their harder days before aaron was singing. But dont get me wrong I absolutely loved they're only chasing safety but i am tired of people complaining that Underoath isnt hardcore anymore which was never true. So now they sound like their old stuff. All in all june 20th wont come quick enough.
