Life This Side of The Edge

I just wanted to talk about being straight edge. It's one of the two best decisions I've made in my life, (the second being learning the guitar). But it's not for most people and i respect that. What i dont respect is the notion that because we dont smoke, drink, or do drugs, we are no fun to be around and dont know how to have a good time. I love to hang out with my friends, I just do it clean. Another misconception I hate is that every straight edge person you meet will be a total dick to you because you've chosen a different lifestyle than they have, which in many cases might be true and thats unfortunate. But in my situation none of my close friends are edge and I have no problems. What I'm trying to say here is that if we just took the time to understand where people are coming from, we'd have a lot less problems in life.
