An aging summer cherishes the growth of city lights that branch out through cement soil, connecting ground and area and the luminescent showcase of artificial lights that beg to be tentative, but stand further away letting human nature take its place. "She only pretends to be uninterested, afraid of plowing through the first day orientation of hug and say hello to an unfamiliar face. I see you in the night; you're hiding behind your eyes. I hear your heart beat except it reifies and sticks with a dissension that believes in questioning the moment. Such an urge you and I have; a want in the today, but at separate times and during another month of warmth. I say pass the sentimental dish of distasteful regulations placing our hearts on hold. Let's surrender to the fictitious romantics of attraction. Give in; bridge your finger tips across my lips so I can taste your body. Let me love what is here before it disappears."
