Why do we have to be here when your not
You lost the battle, even though you fought
We prayed for you and hoped for the best
We did our part and let God do the rest
Now were missing you more than ever
Now that relationship we had is sever
Your gone just for now
Because well meet again somehow
The thoughts of you we will hold on to dearly
Well remember the memories we had so clearly
All the fun times we had came to an end
You were a really really great friend
You were sent here for a reason
Even though you were here for only a season
On others lives you had such an impact
Peoples attention you seemed to attract
Your awesome sense of humor and style
Couldnt we have just a little while?
You set an example for all of us to follow
A place in our hearts will always be hollow
Your love for God, your sisters and brothers
No doubt, has inspired others
We will think about you every day
Well thin about you and pray
We love you so much
Just longing for your touch
God has a plan for you and I
So to Him we will draw nigh
Well remember you forever and always
Even as we walk in the hallways
