Hi I am writing a poem and i would like some input and suggestions:
how could that smile shine so bright but then tell lies that darken the light,
i thought it through and how could i ever think you were true.
hidding behind my fake smile,
i can't tell if this pain will ever be worthwhile.
cuz you broke my heart,
i should have known from the start.
you were wrong for me,
that was very plain to see.
you told me that you loved me,
why did you lie?
you were all i thought i wanted,
now i sit and cry.
but its past time to move on,
you were just a waste of time.
ive found someone to treat me right,
and he makes me feel alright.
i know one day youll miss this,
but ive decided to forget you exist.
