His three daughters represent Greed, Lust, and Hatred. Mara uses his daughters to tempt man and lure him from his path of enlightenment. Once man is enchanted by one of the daughters, Mara is free to destroy him. If man resists, he is free to live. Daughters Of Mara were conceived in Los Angeles in early '04. The brainchild of frontman Shawn Zuzek, DOM are determined to give us something new. Tired of canned lyrics, false emotion and the "Hollywood fashion show", Daughters Of Mara give us an unfiltered look at life being broken, fixed and broken again. Their music is honest and unclouded. One moment is incredibly violent. The next is eerily subdued. Punishing guitar riffs are blanketed by soaring vocal harmonies, and drums swing wildly between blast-beats and whispers.
