After stirring up crowd interest with their recent posting of a “rolling stone” in the center of The Empire Polo Grounds, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has announced the actual 2013 festival lineup. The real Rolling Stones are not included. Goldenvoice, the promoters of the fiesta that spreads out over the course of 2 weekends, has announced that the round object in the photo was not a tumbling rock--it was a polo ball. At least we finally know.
While the lack of Rolling Stones is a disappointment, the official lineup is packed with enough great acts to make attendees quickly forget those guys from the U.K. Fan favorites The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blur, Phoeniz and The Stone Roses are headlining this year’s extravaganza. Supporting performances by the likes of the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, The Wu-Tang Clan, Lou Reed, The Postal Service, The xx, Passion Pit, Sigur Rós, Vampire Weekend, How to Destroy Angels, New Order, Modest Mouse, Grinderman, Of Monsters and Men, and Bassnectar.
If you’re planning to go to the Polo Grounds in Indio for Coachella 2013, you should think about buying VIP passes. Our passes give you access to the restricted areas of the festival. You can hang out in a VIP zone next to the main stage. If you get bored of watching the best bands in the country, you can head over to VIP shady areas, which are filled with creature comforts like picnic tables, couches, extra restrooms, as well as food and beverage vendors. There’s even an oasis of sorts--a full cash bar.
A second VIP area is in the Rose Garden, beside the Sahara Tent. This zone has more seating, extra restrooms, more food and beverage vendors—and yet another full cash bar. It sounds like these folks know how to pitch a party.
VIP Concierge has a limited number of tickets to the show that’s scheduled for consecutive April weekends from the 12th to the 14th and 19th to the 21st. There’s nothing like a big fat music festival, and California will be ready to welcome spring and kiss the wintry weather good-bye. If you live up north, think about how great it would be to head out to the Golden State for an extended vacation packed with music, sun and fun. Of course, you could just hang around at home waiting for the April showers to bring May flowers.
Coachella gets the summer concert season off to a running start. Don’t miss your chance for VIP passes. Run, don’t walk, to your computer or call us for your passport to exciting.
