Viola Enters Contest
Viola has entered the video of "Purpose" in a Head to Head competition on MusicNation.com. If the boys win they be given a slot on the South by Southwest Extravaganza in Austin, TX. Summer of 06 and Rediscovery of Peanut Butter
The summer of 2006 has brought about a lot of changes in my life. For the first time in 7 years I'm living back in my hometown of Florence, Alabama. I went to Freed-Hardeman University for 4 years (99-03) and then moved to Albertville, Alabama to work with North Broad St. church of Christ for 3 years (03-06). My new job is working with the youth at Stony Point church of Christ and I'm teaching Hebrew History to 9th graders (a.k.a. Paper Wad Fighters of Doom) at Mars Hill Bible School. I'm also returning to college classes at Heritage Christian in Florence. I have moved to the outskirts of Florence in the Rhodesville area to a house that I share with the rest of Viola (www.violatron.com). Viola is preparing for the 2nd round of the Bodog National Battle of the Bands and their first album. So I stay pretty busy. I've spent most of my summer traveling between Florence and Albertville and everywhere Viola goes.
Along with those events, I have rediscoverd peanut butter. I've been on a peanut butter sandwhich tare recently. I had two yesterday and two the day before yesterday. I just finished up my second one for today! Not sure whats going on but I can't get enough of it.
Last but not least (by no means) another crazy event has happened. I miss someone! Okay, okay so I've missed people before but not like this. This is completely different. I miss everything about this person and you can guess it, this person is a lady! I'm in love and I don't really care who knows it. I mean, I miss the way she looks at me, her smile, the way she holds my hand and the way my arm just seems to fit around her shoulders. Those eyes, don't even get me started. To top it all off, her walk with Christ challenges me to let go of my old crutches and truly walk with Him! When the crutches get left behind everything turns into an adventure and certainly this is the case with her. No matter the outcome, walking with God and a Godly woman has been a great experience and I thank the Lord everyday for it!
If you know me at all, can you believe it? Travis Creasy, the stubborn, old, bitter guy that had pretty much given up, the one in the same, right here thats me or was me. Yeah, so I'm whooped...I can handle it, I think. I sure am gonna enjoy finding out if I can. Anyways there you go, my confession. If you need a clue as to who I'm talking about just check out my pictures! Here's me wishing that you all find love, first and foremost in the Lord and let Him work to find the other!
