ISAIAH 6:1-8
In the year King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple. Angels stood above Him, each having six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.
And one called out to another and said, "Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of hosts. The whole earth is full of His glory."
And the foundations of the thresholds trembled at the voice of him who called out, while the temple was filling with smoke.
Then I said, "Whoa is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts."
Then one of the angels flew to me with a burning coal in his hand, which he had taken from the altar with tongs. He touched my mouth with it and said, "Behold, this has touched your lips; and you iniquity is taken away and your sin is forgiven."
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Who shall I send, and who will go for Us?"
Then I said, "Here I am. Send Me!"

This is my favorite passage of scripture in the Bible. I love this chapter because it just shows how powerful God is. When I was reading it I was thinking to myself, "I would be bowing down in worship... I would be so amazed." I was amazed at Isaiah's reaction..... He felt unclean, and unable to be in the prescence of God. But I never took into consideration how unworthy we are as humans to even be in the prescence of a perfect God like ous. Isaiah was freaking out because he was unclean, but God took away his sin and forgave him. Then he was able to be in the prescence of God's glory. After that, God asked who he should send (When he said, "Who will go for Us?" He was talked to Jesus and the Holy Spirit) and Isaiah was totally willing to do whatever God wanted. That's how we should be... We are now able to worship God, be in his prescence, and serve him because we are forgiven. Because Jesus died to cover our sins, God sees us as clean and he has fogiven us. Now we can communicate with God and serve him, that's so cool. This section in the book of Isaiah has so many themes in it... Forgiveness, Serving God, Worship, and God's Glory.
