DJ AM was found dead in his NYC apartment yesterday. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. We'll miss him greatly. =/

and thus begins our countdown...

so....it's only 5 more days of school for me! =D

but that is hardly a worthy countdown...considering the most amazing summer of my 16 years.

as a gift for my 17th birthday, my mother surprised me (and 2 of my friends, of course) with tickets to see the boys who have basically defined my life and kept me moving through the worst times...

that's right...i'm speaking of the one, and only, BLINK-182!!!!!!!! (i'm seeing them along with weezer, taking back sunday, and chester french)

so, despite the downsides of my boy situations...i'm am in a stellar mood. (plus listening to debussy's clair de lune and the royal orchestra's la traviata every once in a while doesn't hurt)

thus marks the countdown to the Blink-182 concert on August 29th, 2009.....it is 82 days away. (I can't wait to see mark hoppus and his beautiful face)

gone so young...

hey guys! for all you freestyle moto-x fans that didn't hear today...jeremy lusk died at the age of 24. for those of you who don't know...jeremy was a freestyle motocross rider. he was a dare devil, but that just made him more amazing. he attempted a hart attack indian backflip and crashed on his head. this was a trick that jeremy had landed before...and had also crashed many times. he sustained head injuries and was admitted into the hospital. he died today. he touched the lives of many and was a very promising up and coming young competitor in the motocross world. so my prayers go out to his family and his wife, lauren. R.I.P. Jeremy Lusk 11/26/84 --- 02/10/09 you will be forever in our hearts, =)

empty bottles and broken dreams. ((my new song!))

You drew a line I rubbed it out. It was just another to do list. It looked so good on paper, but there it stays. As words not actions. I know I don't always finish what i start. Maybe that's the reason for the space between our hearts. I'm being torn to pieces, ripped to shreds got a million shattered memories in my head don't know if I'm strong enough to face the world alone. I've got empty bottles and broken dreams I just wanna be myself but that traffic jam in my head has got me thinking of the words I should've said. I didn't know that this could happen. I didn't know I could feel this way. I ddin't know that someone could pass on by and take my dreams away. I know I don't always finish what I start. Maybe that's the reason for the space between our hearts. I'll miss the silence when there's too much sound. The further you climb, the harder you fall, it doesn't take long until you've got nothing left at all.
