This is a song I wrote for an English project called "Perfect Nightmare" :

Laying in the dark, feeling cold as ice

Then why am I sweating?

Toss and turn, but it wont go away

Its you I am seeing

Its you that Im seeing

Tear my bed apart, then start on myself

Ripping inside and out

Havent slept in weeks, walls are closing in

What is this all about?



Im trapped in a nightmare

And it wont go away

Im lost in the darkness

But I can hear all you say

And Im gasping for air

The truth hurts much more

Your image it haunts, keeps me up at night

No rest for the weary

I cant close my eyes, might see you again

My mind inside is dreary

Walking through the world, not really seeing

I feel nothing but pain

Thought I had moved on, I guess I was wrong

My efforts are all in vain



Im drowing in the chaos of my mind

Why cant I just leave this behind?

I fear nothing but the thought of you
