One of the originals when Purevolume opened listener accounts years ago, I have since lost my first one. This is a reincarnation. It will grow. Stay tuned.

Live. Eat. Breathe. Sleep. This is the sound of the scene. This is the sound of footsteps as they arise to an audience. Ascend the stage. For years, up above the eyes in music. Emo, screamo, hardcore, metal, ambient, experimental, electronica, trance. I've been fortunate enough to get to spend time with some great people in music. Hanging out at McDonalds with The Devil Wears Prada, chatting with Norma Jean before their show, spending time after a show with Emery, hanging out with Aaron Marsh from Copeland talking about Anchor and Braille, Stephen from Anberlin, the multiple times and dinners that Gray Lines of Perfection has spent with our "scene family," and the times they let us join them on their songs. These bands, and many more, will be glad to hear you say you appreciate their work.

Embrace your scene. No matter what it is. More often than not, they will deliver it back to you tenfold.
