School work, relationships, family, friends, home work, jobs, and so much drama fill the average teenagers life. As the years pass the complexity and pressure increase upon the youth of today. Years ago college was an option not the the only way out. Dating was simpler, as was the other issues faced by young adults.
As complex as it is getting the teenagers are growing weaker. They do not know sensible ways in releasing their anger or pain. The youth have lost a way to exert their emotions. Some drink or do drugs to forget the amount of pressure upon them. Others result to pain, by hurting themselves or people around them they become soothed. Some teenagers just trick themselves to believe that high school is not for them so drop out, refuse to do work, or simply just dont show up at all.
Everyone can point fingers for the current devastation weakening the future of our country. Some kids are becoming depressed and lose sight of what life means. I do not claim to hold the answers to the world before us. I believe living life is about finding the things that makes us most happy and doing them. Life is not about the pain you go through but happiness you hold if even for a second. It is about always remembering the good even in the worst situations. Life is about walking away from a horrible memory knowing that you have learned a lesson or thinking about the little good that comes from anything.
