Well, first of all, I'm 16 and live in "Sin-tralia", WA. Music is one of my many loves! :-) My top favorite artists would have to be Damien Rice, Jack Johnson, Brand New, Sifted Pure, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Zero7. To me, the most important thing in my life is Jesus Christ! I know there are many times when i feel like giving up. But... who am I to give up? He is the God of all Creation, and yet He has never even thought about giving up on me! When I just think about that.. about how amazing, loving, and powerful He is, it just blows me away! The second most important thing is family. They are partly insane... well, because there is 15 of us kids(!!), but I love all of them to death! Friends, styles, peers, and relationships will all eventually end or disappear. Family, on the other hand, is something that will always be there (whether you like it or not). lol. I'm a very typical teenage girl and so my biggest interests are: hanging out with friends, shopping (obviously!), listening to music, playing the piano, singing, swimming, camping, praising the Lord, and hanging out with my older siblings. :-) Alright, well I'm pretty much sure that's everything about me. haha... i'm really not that much of an exciting person like some people say. lol. Sifted Pure
Have any of you guys ever heard a song that really sticks out to you? Like, it's insanely original, and yet perfectly expressive at the same time. For all you that have ever heard of Sifted Pure, i'm impressed. :-) I actually just came across them yesterday. (http://www.purevolume.com/siftedpure) The song "Everlasting God" is pretty much the most amazing song I've heard in a really long time! There are alot of praise songs out there that really do have amazing lyrics. However, we're so used to hearing them and singing them, that, most the time, we don't even take into consideration the meaning of those words that we're saying. For me, "Everlasting God" is one of the songs that I fell in love with the first time I heard it. The way that Reagan and Bryan sing it just blows me away! It shows their amazing love for God and their love for music. Just listening to this song makes me wanan jump up and scream "God, you are so awesome!" For all those who have the time or interest, please go to their page and listen to that song. :-) Hopefully you'll at least like it half as much as I do.
