Go Grease Lightning...?

Wowww. Okay so I was watching Grease a while ago. Shut up, it was on ABC Family. Anyway it was the first time in about 5 years I'd watched it. And it was the first time I'd ever really thought about what a terrible movie it is. First time I'd even realized it.

Think about it. A really sweet nice girl comes to a new school and starts hanging out with people who make fun of her behind her back, she happens to come across a guy she had a summer fling with, also in her new clique, and finds out he's so different that what she thought he was. So after competing in American Bandstand, getting hit on by this guy in a drive-in, and watching him win an illegal race, she conforms to the standards of these new so-called friends, gets the guy, and lives happily ever after, the end. What's the message? Conform and everything will be okay? Give up on what you believe in to please the majority?

Come on now.

Not sure what I think about this new layout. It's nice and all but where are all of my old messages? Not cool. And then I don't like that you can't delete comments after you've already approved them.  What do you guys think of it? Comment, por favor.

easterrrrr.

HOORAY FOR EASTER :) We had some fantastic weather and I had a fantastic day with my family. Oddly enough, it was a fairly peaceful day, with not much RAWRRRfdljakh-ing (if you don't know what I mean, try speaking that loudly in a somewhat gravelly voice). I watched this UNBELIEVABLE movie called The Ultimate Gift, which, oddly enough, I'd never heard of before. But it was just absolutely amazing, and I'd reccomend it to anyone (especially anyone who liked August Rush, another of my favorite movies). I just realized I really like parentheses. Anyway, as I was saying, ...oh. Okay, well I'm going to have to cut this one short. Bleh. Well Happy Easter everyone!

holy week, batman!

Yesterday was the last day of school before spring break, and I was sitting in class watching the snow outside, and I thought, "Wow, it's the last day before break... that's exciting... I can wait until Christmas - wait what? Did I say that?" But really, it's ridiculous. We've had a beautiful spring up until now, and it's like just when we get a few days off school and can actually enjoy the beautiful weather, it's not so beautiful anymore. It was pretty disgusting. I didn't get a chance to flail my arms and say "YES, THANK GOD IT'S SPRING BREAKKKK!!!!!" because I was busy covering myself with my winter jacket and shivering. Today's weather was a little better; sunny and warm but with a nice wind chill that ruined it. But I hope it gets warmer later in the break. I still have to get something to wear to church on Easter. And on the like four other days I have to sing at church for Holy Week. I'm spending my whole break at church, and while there are a lot of worse places I could spend my spring break at, It's going to be exhausting being there so much. Anyway I'm just glad there's no school :)

doctor... eww.

So yesterday I went to the doctor and got three needles poked in me. I HATE NEEDLES. It's bad enough that I have this disgust with veins in general. My skin is like translucent and you can see the veins all the way up the insides of my arms. It's gross to look at. But then to take that and have these tiny little metal things poked through my skin and into these nasty blue veins in my arms.. ew. ew. ew. I hate needles. I have veins. And I especially hate veins with freaking needles IN THEM. asklfj. GROSS. And if that's not bad enough, two of them were vaccinations, Gardasil and the Hepatitis A vaccine, which made me feel all afternoon as if I had spent all of the previous day doing lateral raises with like a 50-pound weight. And it still feels like that now. UGH. I freaking. hate. needles. I get nauseous, just thinking about it. Yuckkkkk.
