head on over to my artist page http://www.purevolume.com/FireattheFairgrounds

...because Katie and I had thirty minutes left of class and nothing to do so we lied and said we had to go to the library, when really we just wanted to go draw things in the dust on Skye's car. On the way we saw the english teacher we knew through the windows in a classroom. Katie stopped and stood at the window and the teacher laughed and said "AGAN?!". We then proceeded to the parking lot. So we draw a bunch of stuff (heh heh) and then we are walking back to the campus and we saw a coat hanger. Katie had been running into the English teacher a lot so we thought we'd pay another random visit. Katie made the coat hanger into a heart and we went to the class the teacher was in. I had grabbed a little orange flag out of the ground (which reminds me it is still in my purse) and a piece of concrete so we walk into the class and the teacher is sitting at her desk smiling and laughing at us as we walk into the class. We go up to the desk and Katie hands her the coat hanger (the teacher probably thinks we're crazy now...) and I hand her the rock and say "Here's a rock...i mean...erm...paperweight," and she laughs and i run around the class waving my little orange flag. and we told Skye we drew on his car (heh heh) and I can't wait to hear what he has to say about it tomorrow... oh what a wonderful adventure. i must go write a letter to my best friend. no one uses the post nowadays... might as well... <3
hates you. if anyone hasn't heard of them and is a fan of Fall Out Boy, I ask you this... are you kidding me?! haha it was a hardcore band that pete was in. they still have a myspace page. check it out. you'll wish they were still a band
hola! so im gonna see a show tomorrow. its the drummer from the old band i was in, well hes got this amazing solo thing. check it out. it's called jupiter's incense. there is a PV and myspace page for it. anyway. well im going to see that b/c its a CD release celebracion! ^_^ and im mucho excited. i dont even speak spanish....O_O wisdom of the day. pay attention to where your father is driving if he doesnt usually drop you off at school. he might end up in the bus zone... and then do a donut in a minivan to try and turn around before causing a bus pile-up.... yeah... i nearly died.... i need a vacation... my sock puppet rupert says hello and he hates you.
Never eat barbecue chips with strawberries on them. it tastes like vomit. today my friend put a paper napkin over my face so i couldn't see and it made me laugh really hard for no apparent reason. oreos and barbecue sauce is nasty. i'm the only living being that wants to be a robot. when it's cold on the bus, huddle with your friends laugh at the little weird kid when he tries to start up a conversation with the person in the seat across from you. japan is, in fact, a part of asia, contrary to some girls belief in latin class. move on when you're tired of someone's crap. the only one lingering on it is you. don't be miserable anymore. wear purple and black checkered pants when you want to. never eat combos after working out the night before...all your hard work will go down the drain. all for the official cheese filled snack of nascar... 240 calories...in a little snack bag...? i don't think so. too bad i read the label AFTER i ate them all. <3
Eh. im really bored. so i guess i'll write about what ive been doing lately...you know...that stuff.
well i laid down some great tracks and i just need to polish them up and record the guitar tracks...and the drums...and well... yeah. nvm. i have a lot to do. -_-
who knew music making was this hard? especially a solo artist! major props to all the solo artists out there who dont lose their minds trying to do everything themselves.
my life is insane.
so much stuff is happening right now...i cant even explain.
ive been with my boyfriend for a year now and let me tell you...
it has FLOWN by.
its really crazy to think that i'll be graduating in a few years!
this school year is almost over and exams are this upcoming week! holy crap! (speaking of which...i need to study... O_O)
not only all that but i feel like something good is going to happen soon... and thats a great feeling to have. i just hope it's not a false alarm and that something excellent does really happen.
so Patrick Stump hasn't called me back yet... lol.. don't ask... (i have ways of acquiring things by stumbling upon them in my boredom)
and i've been writing like a maniac lately. i wrote a bunch of amazing poems and songs in the past week. and i keep making up new stuff when i'm playing guitar. it really is insane when you are sitting there and go from playing "a little less sixteen candles, a little more touch me" to spilling out riffs of something completely your own out of nowhere. it just has a way of happening. i scare myself sometimes.
oh that reminds me...
my friend made something apparent to me the other day;
humans are entertained by the most insignificant and simple things.
she said to me "i like old typewriters...and coffee. those are two of my favorite things..."
i thought about that all day.
it's like the song from "the sound of music". just random things that you see everyday that somehow make you feel better or make you happy.
i don't know, it just seems like as much as we humans mess up the world and have so many issues and commit so many crimes, we'll always have that small amount of innocence in our everyday ordinary.
thank goodness for it too.
thank goodness for all the little things like typewriters and coffee and the color blue and the sky and clouds and stars and the reflection of light in the rain at night and the city skyline at sundown and woodland streams and baby birds and spaghetti and meatballs...
because otherwise, i'm sure the world wouldn't be as wonderful.
we'd be left with with poverty and pollution and war and riots and anger and smoke and darkness and selfishness and jealousy and greed...
and that's no way to live, is it?
i'm sure you agree. now go watch the sound of music and think about all your favorite things.
you'll have a much better day... i promise.
