Hi, my name is Alex. I'm a 20 year old Maths and Computer Science student from Essex (which is in the UK). I work part-time as a graphic designer and programmer for a small company in my home town. I mostly listen to death metal, but I also like metal, digital hardcore, darkwave pop, post-hardcore and instrumental rock. I love music, but I grew up (against my will) without learning any instruments... so for the past year or so I've been teaching myself guitar, bass and music theory on and off. um... also, I like to cheat death and basically fuck about. I boulder, free climb and dodge cars. My favourite sports normally fall into the extreme category and my life long dream is to spend my life snowboarding. Speaking of dreams... a girl who occupies many of mine is my girlfriend Claire. I doubt she'll ever read this. I love her more than everything. We've come so close to losing each other over the past year, and if anything, it's only made us closer. I've loved others before, but not like her. She is special. Oh yeah, in the rare times I'm not with Claire and not working, I like to make pretty pictures. I experiment with cameras (and photos), chalk, charcoal, paint, code and software to make something others might like.
