Screen printing is a popular technique that custom t-shirt company uses to print designs on t-shirts. It is quite affordable to own a screen printing machine and this is the reason why it is popular among individuals and small businesses. Only a few equipment need to be prepared. There are other kush clothing printing techniques such as heat applied screen printed transfer and all over dye sublimation. All over dye sublimation is harder to implement and it can only be printed on t-shirt made from synthetic material such as acrylic. Heat transfer is the easiest screen printing technique compared to the other two t-shirt printing techniques. Even though heat transfer is the easiest and fastest to implement, the printed design is not durable and can easily faded after washing a few times.

420 T-Shirt Screen Printing

In screen printing, you must prepare two important tools including mesh screen and inks used specifically for t-shirt screen printing. On the mesh screen, there is a layer of substrate that can become hardened when the light shines on it. The design that you want to print on the t-shirt must first be transferred to the transparency before placing it on the screen and exposing it to the light. The substrate will then be hardened and you are to wash away the soft substrate in order for the image to be formed on the t-shirt. The next step is to carefully position the mesh screen over the t-shirt and use a squeegee to apply the ink onto the t-shirt. Only a small capital is needed to purchase the screen printing equipment. When you want to print another t-shirt, all you need to do is to wash the screen and apply another layer of substrate coating.
