I really enjoy listening to everything there is out there (yes, including some country music acts). My favorite bands to listen to are Underoath, blindside, P.O.D., thrice, Paramore, Secret & Whisper, Children 18:3, Demon Hunter, Far-less, and the list goes on and on...Anyway I'm the new kid on the block who has played too many video games and is having the time of his not so so young life. Valentine's Day Chain Reactions
I'll be the first to say that I'm sucker for all things romance... Yeah, I know that it's all rather silly to many people. Some can become bitter and painfully synical to this specific occasion. Commercialism takes those thing that should held as precious or even sacred and attempts to makes them into nothing more than an opportunity to make a few dollars... Yet I've not been in the role of the loveless or lovelorn long enough to want to roll my eyes everytime I think of Love. To be honest I've been poisined by the sweetest substance...romance. Sometimes I'm more than a little lonely, but I can't escape my heart. "Maps" by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs has been playing so vehemently in my head. That song has such raw emotion about something so wonderful that it can be almost overwhelming, but I don't want to escape it all... Some would tell me that I'm only torturing myself, but romance in and of itself changes the way you see things. Last night I was at my church doing some stuff, but there was a Valentine's Day Event taking place. Just being among all of those married and dating couples allowed me to see things that I wouldn't have otherwise seen. With romance being caught in my eyes I could see the wonderful poetry of life being lived out right in front of me, the graceful movement of love was on display and life was being truly lived. Yeah, to many I probably sound all caught up in the moment and my desire for things that are outside of my reach has made me sick in the head... Yet love is real, and I hope to one day be worthy of holding her in my arms. Yeah, I got it bad, yet one she'll love me as much as I love her. That means with every breath that I breathe...
Life and Love
I'm simply replying to a friend's thought that love is dead because right now I'm kind of sensitive to this subject(love that is). No, I'm not here to blast anyone on their personal thoughts or opinions, but sometimes I feel as though many of us can get so caught in the mania that is the Christmas holiday rush that we all can forget to take a little time to keep in contact with the people we're trying to secure the gift for. It's not the gift that matters, but the person for whom the gift is intended for) in other words (also remember the reason for the season, Christ Jesus). Recently I was watching LotR: The Fellowship, and I couldn't believe that my eyes were about to water once Gandalf had fallen into the abyss. Now understand that I've seen this movie like a thousand times, but not without having a family member sitting next to me. Well right now I don't have a family member within a mile of myself, and yes this is my first time being alone. Yes' I'm okay with being where I am because I know that all things work together for my good...Yesterday I tried to talk a young lady to possibly get her phone number. Although she was beautiful and I couldn't keep my eyes off of her, she shot me down easily without to much thought. At first I wasn't going to say anything to begin with because I knew said reality could be a very strong possibility. Indeed it was sadly, but I realized right then and there that she may say "No", but someone will say "Yes". Is having a hundred a doors slammed in my face (because that's how it feels sometimes) worth finding the greatest treasure in this life??? Absolutely!!! And one day she (whoever she is) will love me for who I am...So I encourage all the brokenhearted, lovelorn, and lonely not to give up on love or become stagnant in life. Get back on the horse and keep on ridin'.

like this God loves everyone, but especially the lost,
sick and dying. We should make every effort to reach
out to them, just like Jesus did. So i would encourage
