I love music more than anything in the world. I'd die without it. Literally. Probably anyone that knows me knows that. MOstly I like hardcore, Underoath and The Showdown. I also really like emocore, The Wedding, EMERY, Chasing Victory. I love punk and ska, Dogwood and Five Iron Frenzy...really anything that's not your average Christian music. I like to go to shows, but I haven't been to one in a long time. I love to mosh. Anyways. I play the guitar, pretty good for a girl, and i've been playing for 2 years. I have a Eppiphone G-310 SG, and I got a new guitar, an electric blue Schecter Omen 6. I also play the drums and the bass. Just wish I could play keys, but unfortunately I never learned. I can't sing to save my life. I wish I could with all my heart, but I just can't.
Every wednesday night I go to youthgroup at Church on the Rock Melbourne. I love that church. It's so much fun. We play soccer all the time, I'm not really sure why, but we do. After the boys vs. girls soccer match at the superbowl game in 2006, I was forevermore the appointed goalie of the youth. After playing as goalie once or twice a week for 6 months, I've gotten pretty good.

Good times guys.
Amys going back to school today
Elation, jubilation screams from her face
Did the halls smell of gunpowder still
What made the human heart dark enough to kill?
A new hope
Where is your freedom
A new hope cast off your burdens
A darker world was behind this one
Cryptic it hides beneath perception
We all saw it on that day
Stunned we stood stuttering
What did the news say
A new hope
Where is your freedom
A new hope
Here is your freedom
Peace
Fills us
By hope we steer
Our dark hearts salvage
We live without fear
A New Hope by Five Iron Frenzy--go listen to it...it was written right after Columbine, but it really goes along with what recently happened at Virginia Tech.
Check out my artist account Squidmuffin99, lemme know what you think of the songs perhaps. <3.

What is faith? A question asked by people all the time. The most common asnwer I've heard is "believing in what you cannot see". It's true, but I don't think that's all there is to faith.
Yes, we believe in God, we can't see him, we trust in him. But faith, the faith we should have, should be more than just believing.
WHy are the muslims so respected? Why does everyone get mad at an Islamic joke, but everyone laughs at the jokes made against Christians? Here's what I think is the answer: Faith.
The muslims have so much regard for Allah and Mohammed that if we say one thing bad about them, they fly over and bomb us. That's powerful faith. Christians, we barely even stand up for God in public. I'm not saying that nobody proclaims Jesus, but it really does take more than a WWJD wristband, a purity ring, and a Christian T-shirt.
Real faith, the faith we should have in God, should be incredible faith. The other religions should be blown away at the devotion we have for Him. But do we now? No. How many people have you met that say their a Christian, but don't even go to church? That's how Christianity started getting mocked in the first place. Maybe if churches had a more personal relationship with each of the members, those people would be at church.
My definition of faith: Leaving behind EVERYTHING you have, everything you put your trust in, and putting it all in God.
That means throwing away your dreams, your life, your money, your friendships, everything you have.
God gave me a mental picture while I was thinking about this. There was a person standing on a ship, like a pirate ship, and they were blind folded with their hands tied behind their back. The person then walked out onto the plank. There was super thick fog underneath the plank, so thick you couldn't even see through it. God wanted the person on the plank to jump, but they were afraid of what was beneath the fog.
Faith means giving God your insecurities. Giving God what you're most afraid of, and taking the leap of faith which might just be into that thing that you fear the most.
Faith also means giving God what you're comfortable with. If you're comfortable with singing quietly during worship, God is gonna want you to put your faith in HIm, and He may want you to dance. WIll you do it? Will you stand up and show God that you're proclaiming Him and your faith in Him?
Thats all for now, just felt like sharing that with yous alls.

Wednesday. We were going to play crew field games during Christian Growth Week, 2/1/07. I was running and being stpid, trying to get on the bus, when I fell off the curb and landed with my knee locked. It had dislocated. It hurt SOOOOO bad, I couldn't get it to pop back in. We got to Fred Lee, and Danielle was like "KICK IT AS HARD AS YOU CAN!!!" So I did...and it hurt sooo freakin bad, I fel on the ground. Then I walked a little with the help of Lauren and Danielle, and I got it enough that it wasn't painful. So I played kickball. I played outfield fine, but then I tried kicking, and I ran 2 bases and it dislocated again. Someone from the opposing team [rachel] stopped the game and helped me off the field, and then I limped over to the pavillion and put ice on it. Anyways, it hurt all the time, walking on it or bending it thursday and friday too.\\
Last night, I went to Firedweller. My friend Carissa knew that I had hurt my knee, and after the meeting she gathered a bunch of people to pray for my leg, that God would heal it. They prayed, and then Carissa stopped everyone and asked me to test it out to see if it still hurt. I had someone help me up, and as I was getting up, I heard and felt a million bones in my leg crack. I started to walk, and there was no pain, but it was still uncomfortable. They prayed again and asked me to try it, so I got up and walked around, and it felt fine!!! So I jumped a few times to see if I could get it to hurt, and it didn't hurt!! I ran around the room, and raced Joseph to his car with NO PAIN! It's amazing. Today I'm still pain free. The only thing there is left is that it feels uncomfortable to put my weight on my knee and have it half bent, which will be a pain to pick things up off the ground. But seriously, Jesus loves me and is mmzng.
