Today.
It is finally warm and since it is the end of April, I am hoping that it is going to stay this way. I really, really hate how long winter is in Ashtabula. And especially the small tastes of warmth we get teased with in March because then you open up your windows and don't close them for a week or so and then comes the biggest snow of the year and there is you so used to having a warm breeze blowing through your window at night and now you can't have that breeze unless you want to be dead by morning.
Which is why I am so excited about moving. I want warmth all year long. No snow, no warm weather teasers, just nice. Except, moving is turning out to be such a pain! We had to clean the backyard this weekend and I extremely tired. We have so much more to do as well. We have to paint, and get the hallway fixed, and the bathroom fixed, and we have to have a yard sale. It'll be worth it.
I was watching the news earlier and the main "headline" was that the plane crash in South Carolina. A Blue Angel. I wanted to fly one of those when I was younger, before my dream was crushed when I found out you have to have "uncorrected" vision to fly one. The military really knows how to crush dreams. It's all they do with their facist, archaic, system.

Today.
Today was quite strange. I suppose it's because of my North Carolina trip coming up. It just can't seem to come quick enough. I am feeling really tense...anything could make me explode. It's tense with that apprehension that comes with a trip you've been awaiting. It tears at the cages of you soul and begs for the freedom. Freedom to leave my town only considered sleepy because everyone is drugged.
Listening to The Academy Is... They're new album, Santi. It's good. Very The Academy Is....
They are so good live. I saw them at Warped. They were amazing. So much energy. That's what's best about live, the energy the band can't convey on the album comes out. But then that's is what seperates an amazing studio record from one that is simply mediocre, the energy.
I am feeling lonely as I have been for the past few weeks. It was provoked today, however, by a comment by one of my stalkers. Yes, I have stalkers. No, they aren't like legit, belongs in prison, knows what you did last summer kind of stalker, just the sad, pathetic, nerd brand of stalkers.
A girl with stalkers should feel lonely, I think, but I do. I wish I was terrified of talking to the guy I like or even talk to a guy that isn't Canadia.
I saw this good-looking guy yesterday and he was checking me out or at least he was looking in my direction, and I could have smiled or done SOMETHING! but I did nothing because around guys I just get totally scared! It sucks.
Cadillac
Today I got to move the old Cadillac that was still on the stage from the Grease production!
After we played some in jazz band Mr. T had us move it. It was old, like from the fifties and all rusty and it kinda looked like Christine. Creepy.
So Tiana got in to steer, but Max ended up getting in there with her cuz it was so hard to steer. And we pushed it into the scene shop.
It took like 20 minutes and when Max tried to close the door so the car could fit throught the scene shop door all this rust fell off. The thing fit with only 3 inches on each side. 0.o
