betraying the naive

I'm sick and tired of all the drama.
The things said burned me like hot lava.
Trust was a thing I knew,
until I met you.
I told you what was in my heart

and who knew you were so dark.

To go, backstab me

then think it's so funny.
I died a little inside.
Now everywhere i walk i'm being eyed.
You betrayed me
and thought it was all done cutely.
Why is it that everything that is said i believe?
Am i just extremely naive?
you are currupted with hate and lies.
you have a very capturing disguise.
I was tricked by your ways,
and i can't believe i let you get away.
I trusted you
but only because i loved you.
Now my eyes have grown weak,
because of words you speak
and in the end all i got from you
was a heart split in two.
how could i be so naive
is this something you honestly wanted to achieve?
