Hi. My name is Kelsey. I like music. My dream job is to be a roadie for a band called Mute Math. If you haven't heard of them, you should go check them out. Their concerts will rock your face off. Which is probably a good thing, since your face isn't particularly attractive in the first place. ;)
I want to play the drums like Darren King, the guitar like Randy Torres, the piano like Anthony Burger (yeah, he performed with the Gaither Vocal Band, but he was an *awesome* musician), and the bass like Roy Mitchell. I want to write poems and songs like Josh Dies.
But more about the person I actually am: I've been raised in church my entire life, and appreciate my parents for it. I am incredibly blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful family... they put the "fun" in "dysfunctional". I get along great with my brother and sister.
I like listening to bands that almost no one knows about. It makes me feel... special, in a way. Most of today's popular bands/artists are annoying, having no passion for for the music they create. Why should I care about it if they don't?
I'd rather go barefoot. I don't like to wear makeup, but I like the way it looks on some people. The same goes for mullets.
The only kinds of music I won't listen to are country and rap. The only exeption I'll make for rap is Paul Meany. But he's a white dude, so technically it's not rap, right?
Bluegrass is cool. So is jazz.
I despise Mariah Carey, Madonna, and Panic! At The Disco. I'm ashamed to admit I used to be a fan of N*Sync.
Gosh is *my* word. I was over-using it *way* before Napolean Dynamite.
The newest video game system I own is a Super Nintendo.
I ramble on and on and don't know where to stop.... so.... I guess I'll end here.

i usually don't use that abbreviation, but i feel that it is the only way to express how utterly awesome the season finale of House was.
my gosh, it was even better than 24 last night.
i taped this episode, and i'll probably rewatch it once every day until the dvd comes out. Well, okay, at least enough to memorize it. :)

the way purevolume has made it more like myspace. I like it better here. My computer doesn't shut down if i'm on for more than 5 seconds, as it did with my myspace account.
It's simple. You don't have the option of changing backgrounds, fonts, etc. so there's no pressure, and it doesn't take 4503249756 minutes for the pages to load.
i like the way we can make our own playlists too. It makes me happy.
