the place i've found

sometimes things get broken
and somtimes things get fixed
sometimes we slip up, like when our feelings get all mixed
sometimes we say sorry, but its never enough
i wish i knew how to explain this
sometimes we wish we could change ouselves
sometimes we do
and sometimes we dont
sometimes there is a place in between change
where we realize there is only one person to blame
where every word out of our mouth makes someones eyes sting
where every action causes a catastraphy
where all we can do is feel bad and hope it gets better
where all we can do is beg for forgiveness and bite back the tears
there is such a place
you can find it when you fuck up
you can find it when you hurt a loved one
you can find it because youve probably been there
you can find it because its in you
ive found it and im ready to get out
