I was right in the middle of a fucking reptile zoo and someone was giving booze to these goddamn things. It wont be long now before they tear us to shreds. Suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us and the sky was full of what looked like huge bats. All swooping, screeching and diving around the car. And a voice was screaming holy Jesus what are these goddamn animals. We have entered bat country.A total loss of all basic motor skills. Blurred vision, no balance, numb tongue, the mind recoils of horror. Unable to communicate, which is interesting because you can watch yourself behaving in this terrible way, but you cant control it. But when you get there everything goes wrong. -Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
