I'M TOM, I'M 20 AND I LIVE IN SUNNY ENGLAND. I'M IN A BAND CALLED SILENCE. IF YOU TALK TO ME AND BE MY FRIEND, YOU WILL LEARN MORE. I'm single, I am looking but I'm very shy and quiet. I LOVE Nirvana, Ramones, Sex Pistols and just generally good grunge/ alt. rock, REAL punk rock (not that shit pop punk stuff etc etc), 70's rock and even old pop music. I don't care if your ugly (I'm no spring onion myself, why do you think I grew my hair long?!), anything it don't bother me. As long as we have something musical in common and an interest in each other and you actually reply and TALK to me, then I'm fine and dandy. I hate emos, scene kids, sheep, chavs, goths and general drama queens and attention seekers though! However if you are one of those types of people, I would of thought that you would avoid me like the plague anyways! Oh yeah and one more thing, everyone puts this here but it's a universal truth. DON'T try and change me. If you are a girl who hates long haired guys, stay away cos there's no way I'm wasting the last few years of my life I spent growing my hair, I'm proud of it and it comes in handy as I said especially if your'e a bit of an introvert like myself. What else, I'm a labourer or builder full time but I don't wanna be doing that for the rest of my life. It started off as just a way of paying the bills. I'm not the smartest person and I tried my best at school but I'm just dumb, so labouring seemed like a job where you don't have to be too smart, just strong! Damn wish someone had told me that cos I'm a skinny little freak, but I'm building up strength now thank fuck. It kinda grew on me anyways and now I'm thinking of taking a bricklaying course at a local college. But my dream would be to make a comfortable living being in my band and gigging, touring and recording (lots of people have told me not to bother, but honestly who listens to people like that?!). It's one of the very few good things I've got going in my life (I know everyone says they have been through a lot in their time, but I have in a way, I was severly bullied at school and hated going and my father died of cancer when I was 13 and I kinda haven't been the same since. I am the person I am today because of that really, but don't worry I'm not gonna become a serial killer or rapist brought on by a troubled past! lol). It's best not to dwell on it all. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger I guess. You just got to do the best with what you got given. Haha life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your'e gonna get! By the way I'm also a big fan of films, Forrest Gump being my favourite ( I think lol).
