I was named after a freak of nature in the heavens up above, according to the musings of Dante Alighieri's mind.

Its my parent's fault, but that's another story...

the end of nosebleeds...

finally there is a solution to our undying quest for power... and it's in the form of iPods!

don't believe me? look at the tech section of every on-line store/bidding sites out there... so full of electrical umbilical cords and whatnot.

it's not sickening at all, but we are just so dependent on things such as these... as if our ears cannot handle no more than a few decibels of 6 hours worth of music. and what to do with those 60 GB worht of songs and videos? isn't the boob tube enough nowadays?

even little kids are getting into the fad : rode on a bus one day, and sat next to this old lady with her grandson... with earbuds covering his ears, singing out loud to a novelty song.

i know these technological advancements/hullabaloo are just new and are very effective economicallywise, but sometimes there are just things that can be used only when the occasion calls for it.

and in times like these, money is no object.
sometimes i wonder why I even bother to rant about these things.
and mp3's sell like hotcakes on-line, whenever you feel like downloading it, legally or illegally.

and that's how kids these days discover the worth of porn on the net.
but that's another story...

tune in next time for more rants from this annoying little blog/blogger.

It kills to be an artist

hectic schedules, filling-up for the late act, spare time for all my 5 strange pets, taking care of my strange siblings... surely the life of being freelance does NOT look good at all.

the world would be a much better place if there is art. and that is true. problem is, people are demanding too much from freelance people - thinking that there are more ways than our already existing tasks to make ourselves useful.

freelance does not mean having free time at all.

as a student, I find it easy to manage my time. I am - hopefully - able to cope with the demands of the small city I am in. but for most of the people I know - who are no longer students - they haven't slept a wink since they got calls for projects that others can actually do if they try to find time for it. I am sure all other freelance working folk also experience this. just enlightening those who don't know or about to venture into being at their own pace of work.

we thank the society we belong to for making us your extra hand - and not the artists we claim / are supposed to be!

What a stagnant world...

what a stagnant world it is... it is kinda small for my continuously growing self. but then... let's just cut the crap because nothing has been going on that most people of today notice.

are news about people getting hurt so important? or are the only news that matters are the ones you can watch on E! ?

since then people have grown fat of lies and junk... plus junk food of course. but we never grow tired of it. but there are only the few but fortunate who take to heart, and try to live, and make real news about our world matter.

global warming? typhoons? aerosols? grrenpeace?

it's no wonder kids these days do not know what these mean.

all they know is spongebob, robot toys and paris hilton. take that tv!
